We have officially launched our new promotional video, showcasing how we transform the lives of our learners. In this video, one of our students, Mayizole from Langa, takes viewers on his Christel House journey. He showcases all the holistic support and opportunities that he and his fellow students receive, from daily transport and nutritious meals, to professional healthcare and career planning. He shares his love of coding and his dreams of becoming an engineer. The video culminates with current students dressed up as their ideal career which is juxtaposed with footage of successful Christel House alumni who are now working and have realized those same dreams of becoming a doctor, a teacher, a dentist and a business entrepreneur.
Mayizole, the star of the video says, “Making this video made me feel like I was doing something special. I had to show a day in my life and all the opportunities I receive at my school. I was nervous to be in the video as so many people would see it, but after seeing it, I feel proud and that anything is possible if I do my best.”
Our school is tech-enabled, an official Microsoft Showcase school and provides Mayizole and his fellow students with access to programs like robotics, coding and droning. His dreams of becoming an engineer are possible because of the opportunities he receives at school.
