The impact of music will continue at Christel House Mexico long after a special visit from Latin pop duo HA*ASH. As part of the Latin GRAMMY In the Schools™ program, presented by the Dr. Simi Foundation in partnership with the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation, the two foundations donated instruments to strengthen the school’s music program and help students discover and develop their talents.

Hanna and Ashley also shared stories from their careers and performed for students. In a moving reunion, three Christel House alumni who had performed with the duo during their first visit in 2014 returned to the stage, joining current students and music teacher Álvaro Méndez to perform two HA*ASH favorites. Twelve years later, music continues to connect generations of the Christel House Mexico community, with a surprise appearance by the beloved Dr. Simi character adding to the excitement and delighting younger students.
