Christel House India to open fifth school in 2027

Christel House India has signed a formal agreement with the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) to open a second school in Thane. The new school is slated to open in 2027 and will be the fifth school in Christel House India’s growing network. The Memorandum of Understanding, executed by Jaison C Mathew, CEO of CH India, and Saurabh Rao, IAS, Municipal Commissioner of Thane, reflects a strong shared commitment with local government to expand access to quality education.

“It has been an extraordinary year for Christel House India, with new schools opening in Pune and Thane in 2026, and now a second school planned for Thane in 2027,” said David Harris. “This momentum is part of a larger period of growth across Christel House: over 18 months, we will have opened six new schools, including four next year.”
