Christel House Indianapolis is seeing encouraging progress in student achievement, with 2026 state assessments showing improved proficiency across most measures in Grades 3 through 8. The results provide evidence that CH Indianapolis’ multi-year academic improvement strategy is translating into more consistent gains for students. Both the South and West campuses recorded gains in English language arts, with proficiency increasing 5.0 percentage points at South and 7.1 points at West. West also achieved a 7.5-point gain in mathematics, reaching its highest proficiency levels in both subjects since at least 2021, while South posted a second consecutive year of ELA growth. Multilingual learner outcomes were another bright spot, with students in this group at both campuses outpacing local district performance in both ELA and mathematics. Looking ahead, CH Indianapolis will focus on continuing to strengthen its practices to drive further gains for K-8 students, while adapting successful approaches for high schoolers.
