Two Christel House South Africa robotics teams are heading to the South African National World Robot Olympiad competition, an exciting achievement that reflects the power of providing students with access to technology, mentorship, and opportunities to develop their talents. At the recent provincial competition, the Senior duo of Grade 11 learners, Sabri K. and Jacen F., took first place, while the Explorer Prime team earned third, with both qualifying for nationals. For Sabri, robotics is both a chance to explore his interest in technology and a potential career path, as he is now considering pursuing biomedical engineering. This is yet another example of how opportunities to explore, create, and compete help Christel House students envision what’s possible for their futures.
