Colorful cultural dress, traditional dance, and poetry brought Jamaica’s heritage to life as Christel House Jamaica celebrated Heritage Day. Students wore Jamaican bandana attire and flag-inspired outfits, alongside clothing representing Chinese, Indian, and African cultures, celebrating the influences behind the national motto, “Out of Many, One People.”
A highlight was a Dinki Mini dance, rooted in African traditions. The festivities honored the traditions passed down through generations and the many cultures that make Jamaica unique.
