MIT Research grant to study College & Careers Collaboration

Last modified on June 16, 2025

Christel House, in partnership with Indiana University’s Dr. Ashlyn Nelson, has been awarded a $75,000 research grant from MIT’s Blueprint Labs Charter School Research Collaborative. The project will evaluate how Christel House’s College & Careers Collaboration influences academic achievement, employment outcomes, and non-cognitive development over time. The study will generate valuable insights into the long-term effectiveness of Christel House’s post secondary support model and contribute to a broader national understanding of what drives student success beyond high school. The grant is a meaningful endorsement of the strength and innovation of our College & Careers Collaboration.
