Christel House Jamaica recently participated in the 11th Annual Jamaica Diaspora Conference 2026, which brought together attendees from 17 countries to explore opportunities for national development and collaboration. CHJ’s CEO, Stoney Dryden, and Hon. Sally Porteous, Co-Founder and National Ambassador of CHJ, welcomed visitors to the school’s exhibit booth and shared screenings of the Jamaica-focused version of From Classrooms to Life, which highlights the school’s students and families. Distinguished guests, including Dr. Kasan Troupe, JP, Permanent Secretary in Jamaica’s Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth, and Information, and The Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, were among the visitors. The conference also provided an opportunity to build diaspora relationships as well as awareness of Christel House through TV and radio interviews.
