Strong Year Two results for College & Careers Collaboration

Last modified on September 11, 2026

The second year of Christel House’s College & Careers Collaboration is showing the power of personalized support to help more young people take the next step toward a successful future. Working with four Indianapolis partner high schools, the program now provides more than 1,000 students and graduates with personalized career coaching, work-based learning opportunities, and post-secondary support. The results are encouraging, with 74% of participating students enrolling in post-secondary education – nearly twice the rate of enrollment among low-income students in Indiana as a whole. Within the program’s first cohort of high school graduates, 93% are working or studying, while 95% of college-going students are persisting in their studies. “We are proud of the hard work of the C&CC team,” said Caitlin Teague, VP of Programs and Services. “These promising results point to Christel House’s ability to scale an innovative piece of our model to serve significantly more students and support life-changing opportunities with sustainable investments.”
