As Adri Marais nears retirement as CEO of Christel House South Africa, she will transition into a new role as Christel House International’s Global Chief Advancement Officer, ensuring her leadership and expertise continue to strengthen Christel House worldwide. In her new role, Adri will lead Christel House International’s global development team, with an initial focus on strengthening Christel House’s worldwide fundraising strategy to support continued growth and the addition of more schools around the world. This transition will also allow Tal Gilad, Senior Vice President of Development, to focus her efforts on continuing to expand U.S. fundraising opportunities. “Given Adri’s deep fundraising experience, global perspective, and successful leadership as a school CEO, we saw a unique opportunity to retain her talent within the Christel House family while adding new capacity and fresh thinking to our fundraising efforts,” said David Harris. Adri will assume her new role in January 2027.
