For us, graduation isn’t goodbye; it’s the start of forever.
From the moment they walk across the stage, our College & Careers team becomes family for another five years (two years for our adult DORS graduates). We help secure scholarships, navigate university applications, land internships, build résumés, and even provide emergency financial support when life throws curveballs.
In 2024 we expanded this proven program to four Indianapolis partner high schools, reaching over 1,000 additional students and earning “New Nonprofit Program of the Year.” Across our network the results are life-changing: Mexico graduates twice as likely to hold formal jobs, South Africa 95% in work or study, Indianapolis alumni earning top wages among peer schools.
Pavithra (India 2020) is now a software engineer at Siemens Healthineers because this support never stopped. Naseefah (South Africa 2017) rose to project administrator because someone still believed in her years later.
