From challenge to opportunity: Meet Mitzi from Christel House Mexico

Growing up in a difficult and often dangerous environment, Christel House Mexico Class of 2012 graduate Mitzi Raquel Salinas Guillén faced challenges that could have limited her future. Instead, she found a community that believed in her potential and helped her envision a different path. In a new alumni video profile, Mitzi reflects on the lasting impact the school had on her life. “Christel House always gave me the tools and that big mindset of saying, ‘I want to do this, I want to dedicate myself to this.’ The world was open to me, to whatever I wanted to achieve,” she shares. Today, she’s thriving as a project manager at a marketing agency while also pursuing her entrepreneurial dreams as the founder of her own shoe brand. “Christel House gave me more than education—it gave me values, empathy, and confidence. I always felt loved, cared for, and special.”
