This year, Christel House India is celebrating 25 years, a milestone made possible by generations of students, families, teachers, supporters and friends.

In Bangalore, India, the anniversary celebration came alive through a colorful school-wide assembly featuring the talents of dozens of students, performing elaborate dances and music honoring 25 years of transforming lives. Their performances reflected the spirit of a school community that has grown from its first 320 students in 2001 to a thriving network of four schools around the country serving more than 2,800 students today. Christel House India alumni also joined the celebration, making a gift on behalf of graduates to support the next generation of students. Their participation reflected the enduring connection between the school and its graduates—and the spirit of giving back that helps carry the Christel House mission forward. As Christel House India CEO Jaison C Mathew reflected, “Twenty-five years ago, we began with one school and a belief that every child deserves the opportunity to realize their full potential. Today, that belief is what is driving us to reach even more children, even faster.”
