About 52% of South Africa's youth are unable to find work—one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the world.*

At Christel House students learn leadership, develop positive values and embrace a strong work ethic—qualities which will make them much-valued employees and contributing citizens.

It's critical for impoverished youth to have ongoing support and guidance as they continue their education at university or vocational training. Our College & Careers Program supports graduates until they are solidly placed in jobs, and earning a living wage. In Cape Town, 95% of our graduates participate in the College & Careers program.
