Melvin says Christel House opened a door he thought would always be closed to him – the chance to go to college. “Finances really played a major role in my life,” he says. Crediting the support received from the College & Careers program, Melvin earned a B.S. in Information Technology from Indiana State University. “A program following graduates five years post-graduation got me where I am today,” he says of College & Careers. “I greatly appreciate it!”
