India graduates overcome cornonavirus challenges

Even with the challenge of a global pandemic, Christel House India has reason to celebrate student success. The results of the PUC (Pre-University Course) Grade 12 board exams have been announced and the class of 2020 scored a remarkable 96.2% pass rate! Chaithra M. (pictured) is the school topper with a 96.5% average score.Thirteen students earned Distinctions (with scores above 85%) with 38 other students scoring First Division recognition with scores above 60%. To compare the impressive Christel House results, the Karnataka State Pass percentage is 61.8%. Two Christel House students were in quarantine and unable to take the exam but will be allowed to take the re-exam in September. Jaison Mathew, CEO of Christel House India, praised the Grade 12 students for their hard work. “We would not have achieved the fantastic results without the strong academic leadership that set the high standards,” says Mathew. “My appreciation to the entire team of teachers for making this possible year after year.”
