A march through school hallways to honor the senior class has been a tradition at Christel House Academy South (CHAS). But with the stay-at-home health crisis, this year’s parade was moved to the school’s parking lot with dozens of teachers, staff, parents and families cheering on the Christel House Class of 2020 in colorfully decorated cars. “Our students have once again shown that they are exceptionally resilient,” says Dr. Sarah Weimer, Executive Director, Christel House Indianapolis. “They have been amazing to work with during this pandemic. They have a fighting spirit – they’ve taken care of each other.” The school plans to distribute diplomas at a ceremony for the graduates in late July.
