CHSA educates students and staff about breast cancer

The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection and treatment.

We welcomed St Luke’s Hospice (Kenilworth) who presented an informative workshop to our junior school students and teachers. Important topics covered for the day included what abnormalities to look out for, why early detection is important, overall education on the importance of breast health and how to become more breast aware from a younger age.

Some of our students and staff members also wore pink to show their support for breast cancer survivors and raised funds, which will be donated to St Luke’s Hospice.
