It took Cesar Cruz Flores three years to earn his diploma from Christel House DORS, the adult high school in Indianapolis. He was working full-time while he attended school. “When I finished high school, I knew that I wanted to do something where I could use my education.” Now Cesar works as a Human Resources Assistant helping others find jobs.
A certification in HR earned while attending Ivy Tech, an Indiana community college, inspired his career choice. Now Cesar is giving back, supporting Christel House with a Facebook Fundraiser. “I wanted to do that because Christel House is helping a lot of people,” he says. Cesar appreciates the opportunity Christel House gave him. “Finishing high school really opened so many doors for me.”
