Mexico looks ahead to first graduation ceremony

In August 2016, Christel House Mexico (CHMX) moved to a larger facility and added high school classes. This year, the class of 2019 is preparing for the school’s first graduation ceremony. Fifty-three 12th grade students are focused in their final months at Christel House Mexico preparing for what comes next. Many of the students are working to secure scholarships and completing university applications according to Georgina Reyes, College & Careers Coordinator. Reyes says half the class of 2019 has decided to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). “In a few years we’ll have college graduates in Physics, Engineering, Medicine, Agronomy, and Biology.”
