How did you spend your summer vacation? Amelia Spence used her school break to volunteer at Christel House India – Bangalore. Care and concern for the children of Christel House runs in the family. Her dad, John Spence, Chairman and Founder of Karma Group, the award-winning international travel and lifestyle brand, is a long-time supporter of Christel House India. He is proud of his daughter’s interest in getting involved at the school. “It was her suggestion and I think it will be a fabulous experience for her and teach her a lot,” he said. The children at Christel House kept Amelia busy. She assisted youngsters with reading, art classes, and various sports activities. She recommends the opportunity. “This was a life changing experience,” says Amelia. “It brought me such warmth and joy seeing the kid’s happy smiles.”
