Lavasa, India's first planned hill city, is being developed to be inclusive. Critical for us in this process was the involvement and support of the indigenous people whose living conditions were abysmal. Something special was required to bring about a qualitative change in their lives.
Education has the potential to transform the lives of both current and future generations, setting them free from the vicious cycle of poverty. We set out looking for a partner to help us make this dream come true. Today, Christel House Lavasa is the focal point of our engagement with the local population.
