DORS does amazing work teaching and guiding adult learners to earn high school diplomas and continue their education. But DORS doesn’t do it alone. Volunteers and community groups form part of the team that support DORS students. To show appreciation to these important partners, Christel House DORS recently hosted an Appreciation Breakfast in their honor. Current students and past DORS graduates spoke to a packed room of about 75, sharing their gratitude and reflecting on how the program had changed their lives. “We can’t be all things to all students, so our DORS resource specialists do a great job helping our students connect to the best outside resources,” says Emily Masengale, Principal, DORS. “This is a way to show our appreciation for these partnerships.”
